Bonus Judges Training

Super Saturday Training: Saturday, September 18
Super Saturdays are open to any Toastmaster member, and are highly recommended for Area Governors. The training is FREE and FUN! You can choose from these two SUPER SESSIONS: SPEECHCRAFT and PROSPECTING FOR CLUBS. Find out more on the Education page.
August 1 - September 30
This contest commemorates the founding of Toastmasters International in 1924, by Dr. Ralph Smedley. One person initiated a program that would go on to affect millions.
In his honor, if your club can add
five new, dual, or reinstated members between August 1 and September 30, your club will receive the Smedley Award ribbon to display on your club's banner AND a 10% discount on your next purchase from the TM International store!

REMINDER: Hail and Farewell and Announcement of the "Of The Year Awards"
Saturday, August 28,
5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
The 2009-2010 Hail and Farewell is this coming Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 5-8 PM at the Texins Activity Center at Texas Instruments.
All outgoing Officers and Staff members will be receiving a certificate and gift from Immediate Past District Governor Paulette Harvey, DTM. It is really important that you be there. If you plan to eat, the cost is a mere $5.00 per person for a Cajun meal catered by Razzoo's in Dallas. Sure to be a real treat! Spouses and Significant others are also invited. RSVP by Wednesday, August 25, to patty55la (at) yahoo.com (Patty Kim) to reserve your place.
If you don't want to eat, then you are still welcome to come, but be sure to be there by 6 pm. We'd still like to know if you plan to come, but will not be eating, so send in your RSVP and make that note on your reservation.
