Looking for an advanced club to help enhance your speaking and leadership skills? Below is a list of the current Advanced Clubs in District 50.
Please keep in mind that most Advanced Clubs have membership requirements. Please contact the club or visit their websites for eligibility requirements.
200 Watt Speakers Club (#9682)
Charter Date: 11/1/1993
Location: North Shreveport Library, 4844 North Market Street, Shreveport, LA
Meeting Time: 1:00 p.m., 3rd Saturday of each month
Membership requirement: Toastmasters who have completed five speeches in their Competent Communicator manual may join and continue the path to achieving Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) with the assistance of other DTMs.
Due to a busy work schedule, some working professionals (teachers, businessmen and women, office workers, trainers, banking personnel, etc.) who will benefit from the communication and leadership skills learned in Toastmasters are unable to attend a Toastmasters Club meeting during the week. 200 Watt Speakers encourages those individuals to attend our Saturday meetings where you will receive the same dynamic and individualized assistance to help you achieve your goals.
The Evaluators (#03761504)
Charter Date: 02/26/2014
Location: Spring Creek BBQ, 14941 Midway Rd., Addison, TX 75001
Meeting Time: 7:00 p.m., 2nd Thursday of each month
Membership requirement: CC achievement and membership in another club
The Evaluators has a very unique agenda format, as each speech evaluator is assigned two (2) additional evaluators. This gives the evaluator the opportunity to receive deeper insights and a possible golden nugget in the ‘art of evaluation.’ Also included is a two-part Table Topics session, allowing evaluators additional time to prepare their speeches. Come and be involved in D50’s upcoming new club. Membership criteria required, but all Toastmasters are welcomed to visit. Plus, the food is delicious!

Unique to Improv Masters is the three "Improv" speeches. The presenters are provided a topic by the toastmaster, then have 5 minutes to prepare a speech. All speeches are evaluated. A Funmaster ensures that everyone has a chance to participate. Other benefits include sharing food, laughter, and building friendships.
