Are you a Competent Communicator (CC or CTM) or better? Are you itching to test the outside world with your passionate topics and superior speaking talent? The District 50 Speakers Bureau is looking for you.
Our aim is to connect District 50 Toastmasters with civic clubs, non-profit organizations, school groups, businesses, trade groups and more. We strive to be the best source of the best speakers in the Metroplex.
The District 50 Speakers Bureau will accept your application, keep a database of the strengths of each speaker, and present our speakers group to outside opportunities. When a need arises and a match is made, we will line you up with that organization.
“What’s in it for me?” you ask. It’s not money. But this a great way to stretch your ability, promote yourself & Toastmasters, and potentially find outside opportunities to speak.
District 50 will gain recognition and add more clubs. More individuals throughout the Metroplex will find us and benefit from their new Toastmasters experiences. It's a win-win situation.
Here’s how you can help:
- Register to be a speaker by filling out the application form. You must be a paid member of a District 50 club in good standing and at least a CC.
- Supply us with names and contact information of groups you are aware of (or are a member of) that may require speakers.
- Find sponsors willing to help offset expenses incurred.
