Are You a T.O.P. Speaker?
Are you a Competent Communicator (CC or CTM) or better? Are you itching to test the outside world with your passionate topics and superior speaking talent? The T.O.P. Speakers Bureau (Toastmasters Of Promise) is looking for you.
Our aim is to connect District 50 Toastmasters with civic clubs, non-profit organizations, school groups, businesses, trade groups and more. We strive to be the best source of the best speakers in the Metroplex.
The T.O.P. Speakers Bureau will accept your application, keep a database of the strengths of each speaker and present our speakers group to the outside opportunities. When a need arises and a match of requirements is made, we will line you up with that organization.
WIIFM you ask? Not money, but a great way to stretch your ability, promote yourself and Toastmasters, and possibly find other opportunities to speak. Networking is also a benefit.
The District will benefit from the recognition, add more clubs, and more individuals will gain the benefits of Toastmasters. It's a definite win-win situation.
Here is how you can help:
- Register to be a speaker by filling out the application form. You must be a paid member of a District 50 club in good standing and at least a CC.
- Supply us with names and contact information of groups you are aware of or are a member of that may require speakers.
- Find sponsors willing to donate to help us defray expenses incurred.
